Saki As you can see from Saki’s drawing keyword was this time ”dance”. That stick figure seems to be enjoying the beat. Lol! Captain keeps her drawing very simple. If you watch that figure closer you can see that she is wearing dress. Saki herself?

Maasa’s character is more easily recognizable. I bet it’s her there getting into the groove.

Picture of the Week,
Risako This Picture of the Week is from Hello! Project’s winter concert Wonderful Hearts which was held in January 2008.
It’s been quite a while when our kakko-ii.com blog has last time had new entries so now I’m announcing that last night I posted fresh entry there. It’s all about Rii and some warning signs I and Jam are observing on her recent fitness status. Go to kakko-ii.com blog!

Buono!,
Miyabi Miya photos from Buono!’s previous fan club event. I don’t really have anything more to add on these pictures. To use that old phrase “picture tells more than one thousand words” is quite close to what I mean.

You did it again Miya! You fulfilled my wild earlier dream about you playing bass guitar. I guess you still can’t really play it but you sure look extremely cool & hot with that red bass. Now I’m just thinking that you should learn to play that tool so we could set up a band. Should we play hard core J-pop or what?

Momo has got the rhythm.

Airi: - Gmaj7?!? Noooo, this can’t be Gmaj7. This is guitar, you stupid.

fan art In some older blog entries I’ve posted Risako’s, Miyabi’s and BK’s group pictures made by fan artists. Now it’s time to set the focus on Momoko. Let’s see how fans see Momo’s character in their drawings. Which one is your favorite out of these ten art works?

Berryz Art,
Chinami,
Maasa We got still some more summer related drawings from Berryz Kobo girls.

Chii has included almost all summery things in her work. Ah, summer is almost over at least here in Finland.

And it’s the same thing also in Japan. This Maasa’s picture shows clearly that the summer heat is now fading away. Maasa’s drawing is called “The end of the summer vacation”. Basically that means for many of us going back to school. I think it’s Maasa there doing her homework.

Releases Every time when new Berryz Kobo or C-ute fan club DVD is published it’s a noteworthy thing. Now they have brought out Buono!s first FC DVD. And what a wonderful treat it is! I don’t have the original official Buono! Days DVD yet but I’m going to get it as soon as possible. Because it’s a MUST for us all Buono! lovers.

As always, I was too impatient for waiting to get my copy of it so I just went to Hello!OnLine tracker and got this item as ISO file. When you burn ISO you get DVD.
What can you then expect from this DVD? Much fun, I can tell you. Miya, Momo and Airi are competiting in several “combat sports”. There is a hula hoop challenge, an arithmetic test, an omelette making contest, a “how to get along with puppy” challenge and the whole hilarious event starts with hip wrestling tournament. Saki from Berryz and Maimi from C-ute make quest appearance as judges in couple of challenges.
Let’s have a closer look at tough hip wrestling tournament. In this sport you need advanced special skills.

FIGHT for VICTORY !

First round. Airi vs. Miya. Miya sure looks ready for some serious fighting.

Miya: - Take that, you little cutie!

. . . and there she flies.

Yay, that was almost too easy.

Airi hadn’t much recovery time before facing The Mighty Momo in round two.

What’s happening there below the scene. LOL! I just love those POWs.

Momo is not hiding her bum power. There Airi flies again!

OUCH! It looks like Airi needs now badly some medical treatment. And Momo just laughs.

Then it’s time for final round. Both finalists have beaten Airi so they both are quite confident about winning this challenge.

There it is that POW again. Looks like these girls are enjoying and shaking their hips as if they were on dance floor.

Miya can’t do nothing but take a fly. Momo’s bum made it again. POW!

Momo: - Don’t try it with me!

What? Miya is not happy with the result and wants revenge.

So here we go again. On your marks, ladies!

This is what we call bum fight at it’s best. Wow, two POWs!

Both flying now and Momo lands first. Tough and even fight indeed these hip wrestlers are giving us.

But who’s going to be The Champion?

We are running now overtime. Getting ready for the last POW.

Momo’s hip is working like thunder and lightning. No mercy for poor Miya.

Momo: - Fly away!
Miya: - Aaaaooooouuuuuiiiiihh!

After tight final round Momo has taken the tittle “The Hip Wrestling Champ of Buono!”. Congrats to her. I beted Momo in the first place. If you happen to know Momo you also realise how powerful her bum actually is.

Berryz Kobo,
Miyabi,
fan art It’s always in artist’s eyes & mind, how he (or she) sees his model and in what kind of way he wants to present his feelings towards that model he is painting or drawing.
Picasso, for example, did in his later career paintigs you really can’t tell who they are portraying if you don’t happen to know their contexts. Instead of making cubist art fans of pop stars mostly want to do art that presents their models “as they are in real life”. Of course every fan artist brings there his own personal view and technique but almost always you can say who is posing there in those drawings and paintings.
When I’ve been “collecting” fan art from various Japanese picture uploaders I’ve noticed that great deal of it is not signed by their makers. It’s quite typical that fan art is also anonymous art. I really would like to know artis’s identity, especially if his/hers art is outstanding.
Ones identity I almost know. He is ChrNo from JPH!P Forum and I admire his artistic work very much. I rate him as The Best Fan Artist because he really has found the true essence of Miya. Yes, he is enthusiastic Miya fan and I can’t blame him for that. He makes his works with various techniques but the final result is always captivating. What makes his Miya art so special is the atmosphere he manages to capture there. Those drawings and paintings by ChrNo are more than just portraits. They bring us something hidden extra for Miya’s character. Watching ChrNo’s Miya art makes me love Miya even more than before.
Thanks ChrNo for all those wonderful works you’ve done! Miya forever.
And finally here you have five pieces of ChrNo’s art. All credit for him of course.
